Nice boots but not for an Outsdoorsmen
Attractive and comfortable boots, but not made for the outdoors as they are not waterproof.
Unfortunately, the waterproof version of this boot, Valsetz, only has a waterproof liner.
The side zip is shorter than on other brands, but does the job well.
While the boots are not waterproof, they are very ventilated, so they would be comfortable in an indoor environment.
I use boots like this for motorcycle riding so, if not waterproof, they do not meet my needs.

Good boots!
Hi female mechanic here!
My dad bought me these boots (because I kept breaking me toes, oopsie.) and I LOVE THEM. I am able to kick metal, and stub my toes with no injury. I do beat them to death. I did have a question on how to repair them. After a few months they did tear (it was my fault honestly I had been working 12 days straight in my pops yard that’s full of metal/wood/scrap/etc and I was super aggressive with them.) Should I take them to a tailor? I wanna know what you guys recommend.

One of the most comfortable police boots
I’ve been a police officer for 9+ years and went through many brands of tactical boots, both winter and summer boots. These boots are thus far the most comfortable pair I’ve ever worn. They have very soft cushioning inside making them feel like sneakers, yet they have ruggedness and look of tactical boots. I’ve always worn size 10 tactical boots, but a 10 in these boots are a bit roomy and I’d probably fit into a 9. I’d recommend sizing down 0.5 - 1 sizes from your usual boot size. Amazing summer boots!

So far so good with the new updated Valsetz style
I've gone through 2 previous Valsetz boots over the years and have been very happy with them. Never had the issues others have had and each pair lasted me 3-4yrs. Went to order a new pair and saw this new look/style. Ordered a pair in the same size as my old pair (11s) but they were definitely bigger. Had to swap for a 10.5. Boots are bigger and a little bulkier. They seem to be a bit more boot like from the old style (more tennis shoe like), and they seem more rugged as well. Comfort is still amazing and seems even better than before. The boot is also an inch or 2 taller than the old style. Been wearing them now for a month and love them. Super comfortable. Definitely recommend.

What on earth
I’ve ran/worked out my whole life (cc/track/military/law enforcement/etc) and I am EXTREMELY picky when it comes to foot wear. Im peeved it took this long in life to find some awesome boots like these. These are for work and I’m probably going to order some to workout in. I’m a neutral runner with a low to medium arch. I detest orthotics and support shoes. I wear a 9.5 in rockys, most athletic shoes, danners, bates. I wear a 9 in these. I do wonder if the hovr boots sizing is the same.

Best boots ever
