UA Gift Card Terms and Conditions

This Under Armour Gift Card Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) sets out the basis upon which UA SPORTS (S.E.A.) PTE. LTD.
(UEN: 201331463M) ("we", "our", or "us") may issue and administer the Under Armour Gift Card ("Gift Card").

This T&Cs is between the Gift Cardholder, you, and us. By purchasing, using and/or redeeming the Gift Card, you agree to be bound by the T&Cs herein and all amendments, additions, replacements and modifications as may be made thereto from time to time by us at our sole discretion. Any updates made to the T&Cs will be made available at UA.COM.SG.

1. Gift Card

The Gift Card can only be used for purchases in our physical Under Armour retail stores based in Singapore and/or our online store at UA.COM.SG. It cannot be redeemed and/or used in any other country.

The Gift Card is part of a commercial arrangement that we, and/or our affiliates have with Givex Singapore Pte Ltd (UEN 201811561G) ("Givex"), the issuer of the electronically stored monetary value of the Gift Card to accept such electronically stored monetary value as payment and/or part payment for goods provided by us.

2. Purchase of Gift Card

Gift Cards can be purchased at https://www.underarmour.com.sg/en-sg/t/gift-card-landing/ at a minimum value of S$30, up to a maximum of S$200 per Gift Card or at our Under Armour retail stores based in Singapore in the following denominations of S$30, S$50, S$100, S$150 and S$200 per Gift Card, subject to availability.

The Gift Cards will automatically be activated upon purchase.

Under Armour vouchers cannot be used to purchase any Gift Cards.

3. Use and/or Redemption of Gift Card

We are not obliged to verify the ownership of the Gift Card before acceptance of use and the bearer of the Gift Card shall be deemed the owner of the Gift Card.

The Gift Card may be redeemed at all Under Armour stores in Singapore and/or our online store at UA.COM.SG and may be used in combination with other Gift Cards or other modes of payment accepted by us. In the event the value of a purchase exceeds the stored value of the Gift Card, the Gift Cardholder is liable to make payment of the balance purchase price through other modes of payment accepted by Under Armour.

The Gift Card may only be used for eligible goods and this is subject to change in our sole discretion.

4. Combination of Gift Cards

You may use the Gift Cards in combination with each other, whether physical or electronic, either at all Under Armour stores in Singapore and/or our online store at UA.COM.SG.

The maximum amount of Gift Cards used in any one transaction is five (5) and the total amount of any Gift Cards used in combination cannot exceed S$1,000.

5. Limitations on Use of Gift Cards

The Gift Cards cannot be:

  (a) used to purchase further Gift Cards;

  (b) used by email, phone or facsimile;

  (c) used for goods and/or services from any of our brands operating outside Singapore;

  (d) used for cash advances or to obtain cash;

  (e) returned; cancelled; reloaded, resold, transferred for value, or redeemed for cash, except to the extent required by law; or

  (f ) used in connection with any marketing, promotion or advertising activities without the prior express written consent from us.

By using and/or redeeming a Gift Card, you agree to comply with these T&Cs, and not to use a Gift Card in any manner that is misleading, deceptive, unfair, or in contravention of any applicable law in Singapore.

We reserve the right, without notice to you, to void any Gift Card without a refund, suspend or terminate your accounts, suspend or terminate the ability to use our services, cancel or limit orders, and bill alternative forms of payment, if we suspect that a Gift Card is obtained, used, or applied to any purchase fraudulently, unlawfully, or otherwise in violation of these T&Cs, and any other applicable law in Singapore.

6. Expiration

You may check the expiry date of the Gift Card, physically in stores or electronically on our website at:

Any unredeemed value on the date of expiry of the Gift Card cannot be refunded and/or converted to cash.

7. View your balance

You may check the balance of your Gift Cards, physically in stores or electronically on our website at:
https://www.underarmour.com.sg/en-sg/check-balance/.

8. Refunds

Any refunds for any orders made at UA.COM.SG using the Gift Card, whether in part payment or full payment, may be refunded. If a refund process is initiated, priority will be accorded to refunding the amounts paid by your credit card.

For example, if the payment made to Under Armour included both payment by a credit card and payment with a Gift Card, any refunds made to you will be up to the amount that was paid out using the credit card. Any remaining outstanding balance will be refunded through the issuance of a new electronic Gift Card by Givex.

The refund will be processed within 14 working days after our warehouse receives the returned item(s). Once your return has passed the quality check, your refund will be processed, and you will receive a confirmation email from us.

No refund is available at any of our Under Armour retail stores based in Singapore. We only accept exchange(s) of our products.

9. Expired, Misplaced, Missing, Damaged or Stolen Gift Card

We are not responsible for any lost or stolen Gift Cards or Gift Cards that have been used without your permission. If you suspect that someone has stolen your Gift Card, please contact Customer Service in accordance with Paragraph 10immediately.  Your Gift Cards have cash value and should be safeguarded accordingly. Any expired, misplaced, missing, damaged or stolen Gift Cards will not be replaced or refunded.

You may contact our Customer Service at 8001-865141 from Monday to Friday from 9am-6pm GMT+8 and

Saturday from 9am-1pm GMT+8, excluding Singapore public holidays and/or contact us by email at customercare.sg@underarmour.com if you have any questions and/or any issues with our Gift Cards.

11. Personal Data Protection

We collect, use and disclose your personal information for the sole purpose of processing and handling the purchase of Gift Cards. By providing us with your personal information, you consents to our collection, use and disclosure of the Gift Cardholder’s personal data for the purpose set out above. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more information.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, subject to applicable consumer protection provisions, we will not be liable for claims or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with your purchase of the Gift Cards. This includes but is not limited to damages arising from: -

(a) any delay or failure in processing Gift Card transactions due to any electronic, mechanical system, data processing or telecommunication defect or failure  or any event not within the control of us or our agents or contractors;

(b) any malfunction, defect or error in any terminal or other data processing equipment, software or system used to process Gift Card transactions; and,

(c) any damage to and/or loss of and/or inability to retrieve any data or information that may be stored in a Gift Card, or any corruption of any such data or information howsoever caused.

We shall not be liable to the Gift Cardholder for any injury, loss, damage, cost or expense arising out of or in connection with the Gift Card. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs or expenses of any nature (including legal costs on an indemnity basis) suffered or incurred by us in relation to these T&Cs, including the use/misuse of the Gift Card, and any breach of these T&Cs by you.

13. Governing Law

This T&Cs shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this contract, including any question regarding its existence, validity or termination, shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (“SIAC”) in accordance with the Arbitration Rules of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (“SIAC Rules”) for the time being in force, which rules are deemed to be incorporated by reference in this clause. The seat of arbitration shall be Singapore. The tribunal shall consist of one (1)  arbitrators. The language of the arbitration shall be in English.
